This isn't a review per se, but others call it a "dive bar" so thats 5-stars right there. I do have a question for the owners. do y'all have music to 2-step to?
Excellent local dive bar in a sea of chain restaurants and stores. Food was great and the service couldn't have been better. It was my wife's and mine first time in and we were treated as old friends. Live music was good as well.
Chris and Scott are the best bartenders on this planet! They know our drinks when we walk in and everything it's the best!
Dive bar in NoVA at its finest. Don't be scared, just come on and have a seat! No fancy drinks here but good old divey atmosphere with locals, good live music on the weekends and pool tables. If you cannot stand smokes though, might wanna sit this dive bar out.
Without a local friend showing us we would never have found this place. The cheeky devil even played. The bar is really elegant with professional staff and a beautiful ambiance. The cocktails were beautiful and not badly priced for the caliber of the bar (sorry I can't remember exactly what we paid!). Defiantly recommend checking it out
Great food specials, great atmosphere, so welcoming! The owner is so nice. Come in a time or two the bartenders no what you want. The music is great too! Went to see Charles Wright on a Wednesday and been going back ever since.
We used to come here when we lived in the area and we were so happy to know that they're still operating, with live music, during the pandemic. We walked in and it felt like old times. We came to learn that it's under new owners but it still felt the same. They require masks when you're not sitting (that even means on the dance floor and while standing next to your table). While it's a little uncomfortable to dance with your mask on, I appreciated the fact that they were abiding by the safety rules put in place. Back in the day, they used to have the best late night, post drinking pizza. Not sure if they still do because we didn't get anything to eat but I would highly recommend it. Not sure when or if we'll be back (since we no longer living close) but if you're looking for a laid back, no judgement zone, hole in the wall bar with good music and good people then this is your place. If you're looking for somewhere to show off your new heels and designer purse - keep driving.
